Yes, it is indeed contest season. Who knew that there even was a contest season? All I know is that every important rating of small businesses seems to have a "Winner" in March and April. I guess it's like being hatched. The great news is that SadieDey's is already a Winner. Well I think we are a winner even if we didn't win any contests, but when I saw that we had been voted Best Family Restaurant in the SFGate Baylist Competition I screamed so loud Sadie asked me to keep it down. What made it even better was that this was the first time we have been recognized as not just a play cafe, but a restaurant, which is what we are. We just trying to make the dining experience one where you can actually eat with kids under 5. We are still in the running for both local and national contests and, not to be greedy, but we'd love SadieDey's to strut her stuff here too.
